Briana Corbin

Briana Corbin (she/her) is a graduate of the Child and Youth Care program at the University of Victoria. She was first introduced to nature school when she did her fourth practicum at EPIC and fell in love with the experience of teaching and caring for children outdoors. She has continued her involvement in outdoor education through her work at Victoria Nature School and Seedlings Forest Education working with preschool students. Briana is passionate about meeting children where they are at and joining them in imaginative play. She hopes to encourage children in developing skills in empathy, compassion, stewardship and connection to nature. Being born and raised on the island, Briana has a deep appreciation for the mountains and ocean. Briana loves surfing, hiking, camping and creating connections with people wherever she goes. She hopes to continue to gain knowledge around outdoor education and discover new ways to empower children. She is so excited to be continuing her journey with the EPIC community!
