🌿 End of Year Learning Celebration 🌿
EPIC’s End of Year Learning Celebration is on Wednesday June 19th at 12:30pm. Kids will arrive at the usual time in the morning, but families are invited to arrive and gather by 12:30pm in the yurt field. Here are additional details to keep in mind:
What to expect: A relaxed hang out in the yurt field to celebrate each child and the Learning Team. As of 12:30pm, each family who is able to attend is responsible for their child. If you’re in attendance, please do your best to support your child to be able to listen respectfully to their peers and Learning Team members during this important final celebration. Snacks and water are a great way to help us regulate and stay focused! For caregivers who are unable to attend, our wonderful Learning Team will support your kiddos, as usual. 💗
What to bring: A blanket for your family to sit on, snacks, lots of water, sunscreen, sun hats, and flowers from your garden so that we can make special bouquets for each child leaving EPIC. 🌼
Flowers: On the morning of Wednesday June 19th, please bring 4 to 6 flowers to contribute to the bouquets. Your contribution will symbolize a token of gratitude and remembering of the special magic of our outgoing learners/families. ✨💖 You can hand off your flowers to Catie/Maia at check-in. Flowers can be cut from your garden, a friend’s garden, homemade, or store-bought. You decide the gesture that feels good. 💐
Gifts: As mentioned in previous emails, please do what feels right for your family in terms of gifts. Learning Team members will receive gifts on behalf of EPIC, but if you would like to make or buy special gifts and cards to show your appreciation, please go ahead. There’s no pressure either way – we hope you will do what feels right for your family. 💚 If you choose to give gifts, please label them clearly as there may not be time to open gifts after the Learning Celebration.
