Evelyn (she/her) is going into her 4th year of Child and Youth Care studies at the University of Victoria. She is a settler raised on the Saanich Peninsula, on the beautiful territory of the WSÁNEĆ peoples. Evelyn has some experience working with children and youth on the Peninsula through positions as a summer camp and out-of-school care leader.
Growing up, her best memories were spent outdoors playing games such as Camouflage with her neighbours and exploring the beach. In her free time she loves to hike, camp, and find a peaceful place to read a book. Her love for nature inspires her work as a future practitioner, with a passion for outdoor learning and wellness. She is honoured to join the team at EPIC and is excited to connect with everyone during her time here.
